What’s your favorite color?

In the 1900’s, Johannas Itten (a noted artist and colourist), discovered that when his students painted identical scenes some would use cool colors and others would use warm.

He found that the students using mostly warm colors, also physically appeared gold-toned and warm. On the other hand, the students who painted mostly in cool colors -physically- had more pink/blue undertones.

Intuitively we are attracted to our colors and in theory -without any outside influences- we would gravitate towards the colors that might naturally compliment our skin tones.

But with years of input -either from our friends/family, the fashion industry, all of the social channels- it can become confusing.

A Color Analysis is such a great way to hit the “reset” button. It gives clarity to your choices, it helps weed out the things (and information) that really don’t work for you, and it gives you the confidence to put on the things that DO work for you!

Have you ever taken notice of the colors you naturally gravitate towards? Do share! I have always loved green. All the shades, but that bright leafy green. It’s always my favorite.
